How to reach Amruteshwara temple

Amruteshwara temple is situated in Vamanjoor . Vamanjoor is a smal town in the Coastal city of Mangalore in Karnataka, India, close to Kudupuand Gurupura .  

• How to reach Amruteshwara temple ?
•   By Bus - Take Bus (Non-express , shuttle buses towards Moddubidri  from Mangalore statebank (Maidan) Bus stand .It is arround 13 KMs from Mangalore  and costs 6 Rs in Bus (in Yr 2009)
• If you want to take a Rickshaw , get down at Vamanjoor and take a rickshaw to Amruteshwara temple (Costs Rs 30 as of 2009) .
• If you want to walk , get down at a bus stop called "Kettikal" (1 stop after vamanjoor) and walk down the hill for about 1 KM to reach the temple

ಶ್ರೀ ಅಮೃತೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ತಾನದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಕಲಶೋತ್ಸವದ ವಿಷಯಗಳು : Brahma kalashotsava of famous ಶ್ರೀ Amruteshwara temple of Vamanjoor is to be celebrated in 2010 . As all Bhakta's are aware , once in every 12 years , Brahma kalashotsava should be celebrated in any temple . With multi fold increase in devotees over past few years and with the blessings of ಶ್ರೀ Amruteshwara, the planned Brahmakalashotsava this time in feb-2010 , should be a grand success .Devotees will be informed about the works to be carried out , exact dates of functions etc through this blog and a website(being planned) . All are requested to contribute to this blog by giving their valuable suggestions . Few planned works in this blog are
